Walk-Through Marine Inspection

A Certified Marine Surveyor will conduct an on-site walk-through inspection of the vessel, typically taking up to two hours, depending on the size and complexity of the vessel. During the inspection, the surveyor will assess the vessel's overall condition and identify any significant defects, safety concerns, or major items that may warrant further investigation.

This service is intended to assist prospective purchasers in determining whether the vessel is worth pursuing before committing to the expense of a comprehensive pre-purchase marine survey. It is particularly beneficial for interstate, overseas or remote buyers, allowing an independent professional to provide an initial assessment before travel or further investment.

Please note that no written report is provided as part of this service. Following the inspection, the surveyor will discuss the findings with you by telephone, answer any questions you may have, and provide professional guidance based on your individual requirements. We encourage you to contact us to discuss your needs and determine whether this inspection is the most suitable option for you prior to booking.

Should you decide to proceed with a comprehensive pre-purchase or Insurance marine survey, 50% off of the Walk-Through Inspection fee will be credited towards the cost of the full survey, provided the survey is carried out by Maritime Surveyor within a month from walk-through inspection.
